How to Fit

Following the steps below, you will know how to fit OrthoGait orthoses and comfort your feet.

Step 1.

Podiatrists to do adjustment on orthotics using additions or no need according individual patient’s conditions and foot problems. 

Step 2.

Remove any existing shoe liners, insert orthotics into footwear. Place footwear upside down on top of OrthoGait Heating Machine, so that shoe opening/heel is over outlet, toe resting on shoe rest bar. Then use heating machine heat the shoes. You can also use a hair dryer to heat OrthoGait if you don’t have a heating machine. 

Step 3.

Remove the shoes from heating machine and ask patient to put shoes on immediately, stand in them 2-3 minutes to allow OrthoGait to mould to the shape of the foot and shoe.
